Fifteen years on the mat. Nine years teaching. A path that led from personal practice to Bodhsara Wellness, Yoga Beyond The Mat, and now, India Journeys.

I've been on the mat for 15 years. Nine years in, I signed up for teacher training, not to teach, just to get better at my own practice. But the course required trial classes toward the end, and something shifted. Students kept coming back. That's when I realized I had something worth offering beyond my own practice.

Everything I'd learned on my own path, what helped, what didn't, what took me years to find, became something I could hand to others more directly. It's a way for people seeking something authentic, who don't know where to start, to be guided by someone who's already walked the path. It's the same thinking now shaping India Journeys.

Teaching kept surfacing the same pattern. People weren't stuck because they lacked knowledge, they were stuck in habits running on autopilot. That became Yoga Beyond The Mat, a workshop built around five shifts in how we relate to mind, body, and breath, small enough to carry into everyday life, wherever you are.

That thinking became Bodhsara Wellness, first as retreats in Goa, then, about a year later, one of India's first dedicated detox therapy studios, rooted in naturopathy. Running it made me an entrepreneur in every sense, and it's why hotels and hospitality brands now reach out to me as a consultant.
That same experience is what hotels and hospitality brands now come to me for. Having built a wellness business from the ground up, not just designed a spa menu, I help properties think through what an authentic wellness offering actually requires: the right practices, the right pacing, and people who can genuinely deliver it. It's the same principle behind everything else I do, real expertise, not a trend.
